Everyone who joins your newsroom opens Family Gazette with their own CASL member number. Membership is free for seniors, adult children, caregivers and families.
Invite them from inside the app with a private link. It lasts seven days.

What CASL Trusted means.
Family Gazette is a partner app in CASL, the Chamber for the Advancement of Senior Living: a free network of trusted businesses for seniors and families in Toronto and the GTA. CASL runs it for members on CASL’s own server. Your stories and photos are kept there and shown only to your newsroom. CASL doesn’t sell what you add, and doesn’t share it with partner businesses.
CASL Trusted is CASL’s own mark.

Is Family Gazette free?
Yes, for CASL members. CASL membership is free for seniors and families in Toronto and the GTA; enter your member number and Family Gazette opens. For everyone else the price will be $149 a year, and it isn’t on sale yet.
Do grandparents need to use the app?
No. Someone in the family prints the edition or saves it as a PDF, and they read it on paper or on screen.
Does everyone in the family need to be a CASL member?
Yes. Each person opens the app with their own CASL member number. Membership is free for seniors, adult children, caregivers and families. Then they join your family space with its private invite link, which lasts seven days.
Who can see our stories and photos?
Only the people in your newsroom. It’s kept on CASL’s own server and shown only to your newsroom. CASL doesn’t sell it, and doesn’t share it with partner businesses.
Can I use it on my phone and my computer?
Yes. Open the app on one device, tap “Use on another device” in the CASL strip at the top, and open that link on the other device within 24 hours. It opens as you, with the same newsrooms.
Does Family Gazette work on my phone?
Yes. It runs in the web browser on any phone, tablet or computer. There’s nothing to install.
