Good to know
Plain and honest.
- Kinweek doesn’t book appointments, and it sends no texts, emails or reminders.
- A downloaded calendar file is a one-time copy, not a live sync.
- Repeats are separate copies you can change one by one.

Everyone who joins your family calendar opens Kinweek with their own CASL member number. Membership is free for seniors, adult children, caregivers and families.
Invite them from inside the app with a private link. It lasts seven days.

What CASL Trusted means.
Kinweek is a partner app in CASL, the Chamber for the Advancement of Senior Living: a free network of trusted businesses for seniors and families in Toronto and the GTA. CASL runs it for members on CASL’s own server. Your calendar is kept there and shown only to the people in your family calendar. CASL doesn’t sell what you add, and doesn’t share it with partner businesses.
CASL Trusted is CASL’s own mark.

Is Kinweek free?
Yes, for CASL members. CASL membership is free for seniors and families in Toronto and the GTA; enter your member number and Kinweek opens. For everyone else the price will be $149 a year, and it isn’t on sale yet.
Does Kinweek book appointments or send reminders?
No. It’s the family’s shared plan. Booking, reminders and texts stay with you.
Does everyone in the family need to be a CASL member?
Yes. Each person opens the app with their own CASL member number. Membership is free for seniors, adult children, caregivers and families. Then they join your family space with its private invite link, which lasts seven days.
What if two of us change the same plan at once?
Kinweek checks. If someone else changed a plan while you were editing it, it asks you to reload first, so nobody’s change is lost without anyone noticing.
Can I use it on my phone and my computer?
Yes. Open the app on one device, tap “Use on another device” in the CASL strip at the top, and open that link on the other device within 24 hours. It opens as you, with the same family calendars.
Does Kinweek work on my phone?
Yes. It runs in the web browser on any phone, tablet or computer. There’s nothing to install.
