Assurance Appraisals Inc. is a York Region based real estate appraisal firm serving the Greater Toronto Area and Central Ontario. Much of their work is for families, executors and their advisors when a valuation is needed as part of settling an estate, applying for probate or dividing assets. They offer both a current appraisal and a retrospective one, which gives the value of the property as it was on the date of death, and their reports are accepted by courts, the Canada Revenue Agency and lawyers, with coordination with lawyers and financial professionals when needed. They know that settling a loved one's estate can be sensitive and stressful, and aim to make the appraisal step clear, objective and timely.

They also appraise for separation and divorce, for selling or buying a home (pre listing and pre purchase), for capital gains, property tax assessments and mortgage financing, on condominiums, houses, multi residential buildings of one to four units, rural properties and vacant land. Every report is prepared or reviewed by a Canadian Residential Appraiser (CRA), a designation of the Appraisal Institute of Canada. Quotes are free, and they accept cash, cheque, e-Transfer and bank draft.
