Nurses and personal support workers at home

Elcare Health Services is a home care agency based in Mississauga. Its care team is made up of registered nurses, registered practical nurses, personal support workers and companions, and over seven years it has cared for more than 300 clients at home.

Nursing care covers medication administration, IV therapy and home infusion, dressing changes, pain and symptom management, chronic disease management, care after surgery, and basic and advanced foot care. Personal care, Alzheimer's and dementia care, palliative care and companionship are offered too, at home or in a care facility.

Care managers are available around the clock, and caregivers are matched to each person. Care starts with a consultation, online or at home, and a care plan set out with the family. Service is offered in English and French.
