Duckpin bowling, glow in the dark mini golf and an arcade on Yonge Street in Richmond Hill

Funnect is a family entertainment centre at Unit 112, 10720 Yonge Street in Richmond Hill, in business for a year. In their own words, it offers duckpin bowling, glow in the dark mini golf, arcade games and private party rooms, and brings generations together through fun, approachable activities in a welcoming space, with food made in house and personalized event planning that makes it easy for families, friends and community groups to enjoy time together.

Duckpin bowling, their site explains, uses smaller balls with no finger holes on shorter lanes, with three rolls per frame, and is family friendly for all ages and skill levels. The mini golf course has nine glow in the dark holes under UV light, with no special gear or skills needed, for groups of one to five. The site says there is no admission fee for accompanying adults, you pay only for the activities, arcade cards or food, and the café menu runs to pizza, burgers, wings, sandwiches, coffee and tea. Walk ins are welcome when space allows, with booking recommended for weekends, holidays, lanes and larger groups.

Their site puts it as "Have Fun & Connect": spaces that spark connection, joy and play for everyone. It hosts birthday parties for children, teens and adults, youth group events, team outings and corporate events, with private rooms for parties. CASL members get 20% off bowling and mini golf: mention your membership when you first get in touch. Call 514-813-9236 or 833-333-2003, or email info@funnect.ca.
