About GelaTeo Cafe

Gelato made from scratch, and a good place to sit

GelaTeo Cafe is an independent neighbourhood cafe and artisan gelateria on the Danforth. The gelato is made from scratch with good ingredients and traditional methods, and the counter also has specialty coffee, pastries, sandwiches and other cafe food.

It was built to be a place where people sit, meet friends and family, and take their time over a coffee or a cup of gelato. Many of their regulars are older people from the neighbourhood.

The team is asked to be patient, friendly and respectful, particularly when a customer needs a little extra help. It is an easy spot to bring a parent for an afternoon out.
