HyperTherapy is a mobile massage practice staffed by registered massage therapists who travel to the client rather than the other way around. For a senior who finds a car trip painful, or who cannot comfortably sit in a waiting room, that difference is the whole point.
Their registered therapists work regularly with people whose mobility is genuinely limited — clients recovering from bone fractures, living with Parkinson’s, recovering from brain injury, or largely confined to bed. As Ken Zhou put it in his application to CASL, the elderly population has a hard time travelling on their own. His practice is built around removing that barrier.
Treatment covers rehabilitation, tension and chronic stiffness, trigger-point release, and straightforward relaxation. Because the therapists are CMTO-registered and carry both corporate and individual liability insurance, visits may also be claimable under many extended health plans — worth checking with your insurer before you book.
