Nutrition counselling from a Registered Dietitian, in Woodbridge and online

Inner Health Nutrition Consulting is a Registered Dietitian’s practice at Suite 405, 8333 Weston Road in Woodbridge, Vaughan, which in its own words has been committed to helping local communities reclaim their health and well being since 2000. The dietitian has over 30 years of nutrition counselling experience and, their site says, 11 years of full time hospital work before opening the practice, and brings a compassionate, evidence based approach to tailored nutrition counselling programs, public workshops and meal planning tools.

In their own words, there is no one size fits all solution: programs are personally tailored to each client, including seniors, and address common concerns such as poor appetite, dietary intolerances, improving nutritional status and digestive health issues, with realistic dietary recommendations suited to each person. Their site lists kidney disease, blood sugar and diabetes, heart and metabolic health, digestive disorders and allergies, and women’s health among the areas they work in, along with cooking classes, grocery store tours and community presentations.

Appointments are in person in Woodbridge or online, Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm, with limited availability on some Saturdays. Their site says a first consultation runs 60 to 75 minutes, follow ups about 30 minutes, and that there is no need to commit to a program: you can start with one appointment.
