LifeCare Mobility — Home Stair Lift Solutions — Mobility equipment & stair lifts for seniors
Your CASL member offer

5% off the purchase and professional installation of a new stair lift for CASL members, to a maximum discount of $500 — plus LifeCare’s standard complimentary, no-obligation in-home or virtual consultation.

Exactly as set out in LifeCare’s signed partner application. The customer must be an active CASL member before accepting LifeCare’s quotation. The offer applies to a new residential stair-lift purchase and professional installation completed by LifeCare within its standard GTA service area. One CASL discount is available per household. It cannot be combined with another promotion or negotiated discount. It excludes pre-owned equipment, rentals, service or repair calls, delivery-only purchases, and products other than stair lifts. Where third-party funding is involved, the discount applies only to the member-paid portion and only where the funding rules permit it. The offer is subject to product availability and a suitable in-home assessment. First review date: 31 December 2027.

About LifeCare Mobility — Home Stair Lift Solutions

Solutions. Installation. Service.

LifeCare Mobility is a family-run Scarborough business that has supplied, installed and serviced home accessibility equipment since 2010. Stair lifts are their principal area of expertise, and the wider range covers porch and vertical platform lifts, home hospital beds, bathroom safety modifications, wheelchairs, scooters, walkers and rollators, lift chairs, rentals, and selected pre-owned equipment.

Their approach is consultative rather than transactional. Because they work across several equipment categories and manufacturers, they can recommend what actually suits the person, the staircase and the budget instead of fitting every client to one product. Consultations are free and carry no obligation, in the home or virtually, and they will walk you through the funding programs that might apply as well as the equipment itself.

The business exists because of a family experience. Chris Gaffney moved into home medical equipment after his father, Thomas Gaffney, went through a rapid decline in mobility and cognitive function — and Chris found it unreasonably hard to work out what equipment was needed, what the options were, and who could actually deliver a complete solution. Making that process clearer and faster for other families is the stated purpose of the company.

Fifteen years of home visits means they usually meet people at a difficult moment: after a fall, a hospital stay, a new diagnosis, or a sudden change in mobility. They are used to adult children and caregivers being in the room, and they work with occupational therapists and community agencies across the GTA — which matters when the safest recommendation is not the most expensive one.

Why they are in the network

LifeCare holds a 4.9 rating from more than 190 reviews and has been a BBB Accredited Business at A+ since 2018, which is a long time to keep that up in a trade where pressure selling is common. What decided it, though, was the application itself: they set out every condition on their member offer in writing, including a review date, without being asked to. That is unusual, and it is exactly the behaviour we want facing seniors.
