Honest advice about the family piano

PianoTuners.ca is a Toronto piano service company doing tuning, repairs, inspections, appraisals, cleaning and help coordinating a move, for upright, baby grand and grand pianos. Standard tunings start at $160 plus tax.

A lot of their work is with seniors, adult children, executors and families who are downsizing, moving into retirement living or settling an estate, and need to decide what to do with a piano that has been in the home for decades. They look at its condition and realistic value, say honestly whether repairs are worth it, provide written appraisals and inspections when needed, and help arrange a move, sale, donation or responsible disposal.

15 years of experience. The owner and head technician is a member of the Piano Technicians Guild and trained through its Technical Institute. Written inspections and appraisals provided where required.
