Silver Wizard is a Toronto based technology support service designed specifically for older adults. It provides personalized, one on one help with smartphones, tablets, computers, apps, accounts and online safety, in the home, virtually, and through community tech clinics. What makes it different is the focus on the person, not just the technology: taking the time to explain things clearly, without jargon or judgment, so older adults build confidence, stay connected and use technology more independently.

Silver Wizard was created to support older adults and the families who help them find their way in an increasingly digital world. The service also understands the role caregivers and adult children often play in supporting a loved one. It gives families another trusted resource, helping older adults become more confident and independent while reducing the pressure on family members to be the sole source of tech support.

Founder Stephen Velasco works across Toronto and York Region, including North York, Scarborough, Etobicoke, Thornhill, Richmond Hill, Markham and Vaughan, and has cleared the Toronto Police Service vulnerable sector check.
