SMC Masonry is a family masonry business based in Pickering, established in 1985 and led by a Gold Seal Certified mason. It repairs and restores brick and stone on homes across Durham Region and the GTA, and takes on institutional and commercial work too.

The work covers brick repair and replacement, tuckpointing and repointing, parging, chimney repair and rebuilding, stone veneer, window sill replacement and door and window cut outs. Porch and step repair is a big part of it: rebuilding concrete and masonry steps and restoring front entrances, which makes them safer as well as better looking.

The owner, a master mason, is on every project, and the work is done by SMC Masonry's own employees, never outsourced. Estimates are free, and the owner told us they take particular care with older clients.
