About TRU Inspections

Home inspections across Toronto and the GTA

TRU Inspections is a home inspection company based in Woodbridge, in Vaughan, working across Toronto and the GTA. The owner has been in the industry since 2004, holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering, and is a Registered Home Inspector with the Ontario Association of Home Inspectors.

They inspect homes before you buy or sell, and do maintenance checkups on the home you already live in, so problems are found before they turn into unplanned bills. They often help people who are downsizing, moving, buying a smaller home or a condo, or getting a house ready to sell, and they explain what they find in plain language. New homes get a pre-delivery inspection and first and second year warranty inspections.

Their standard inspection includes a drone look at the roof where it is needed, infrared thermal and moisture imaging, and an optional air quality check, and they also offer radon screening and pool and spa inspections. An inspection usually takes two to three hours, they encourage you to come along and ask questions, and the report with photos arrives within 24 hours. Evening and weekend times are available.
