Questions

How do I put these dates on my phone?
Use the buttons above. On an iPhone, tap "iPhone, iPad or Mac", then Subscribe. On an Android phone, tap "Google Calendar and Android" and add it to your Google account; it then shows in the Calendar app on the phone. For Outlook.com, use the Outlook button. Any other calendar can import the downloaded file.
Will the calendar on my phone update by itself?
Yes, if you subscribe with one of the first three buttons. Your calendar checks our file for changes on its own, so a date we add or correct reaches you without doing anything. A downloaded file is a copy and stays as it was.
Is it free? Do I have to join CASL?
It is free for everyone, with no sign-up. Print as many copies as you like, for yourself, your family or a seniors club.
Where do the dates come from?
From the Government of Canada, the Canada Revenue Agency, the Government of Ontario, the City of Toronto, the United Nations, the World Health Organization and the groups that run each awareness month or day. Every date on this page links to its source. Dates can change, so check the source before you rely on one.
Which payment days are in it?
The Canada Pension Plan and Old Age Security payment days for November and December 2026, as the Government of Canada publishes them; the Canada Groceries and Essentials Benefit (which replaced the GST/HST credit in July 2026) on the days in the CRA's guide; and the Ontario Trillium Benefit through June 2027, worked out from the CRA's published rule (the 10th of each month, or the last working day before it when the 10th is a weekend or holiday). The CPP and OAS days for 2027 and the payments from July 2027 aren't published yet. We add them as soon as they are, and a subscribed calendar picks them up by itself.
